On a budget? Bali is the place for you in that case!
- Kurious kannya

Bali, the most favored and popular Indonesian tourist island is a home for heritage and culture, world- class surfing and water sports and the cleanest beaches of the world. It is truly a nature’s paradise.

DAY 1 – Seeping the culture in

Living through the world’s most famous landing amidst the ocean at Denpasar International airport, getting the on-spot Visa within seconds and setting off easily to our hotel, perfect starting? Not really! As soon as we reached the city cor eour vehicle broke down. Ruffled up situation, growling empty stomachs and the jet lag was taking over. But then a pizza eatery came to our rescue, we managed to finish 8 large pizzas, with not even a single leftover. The most ironical thing was our bill. It stated 5 lakh ( which was actually just 2500), their currency conversion made us feel like the king of the world. Soon our tour guide informed us that the vehicle had arrived. After our checking in at the Champlungmas hotel near the Legian beach we were informed to meet up at the reception by 3p.m to depart for our first tourist point- Tanah Lot temple.

The temple located at the Baraban village nearly 20km from our hotel just gave us enough time to accumulate our sleep and get over our jet lag. The temple along the shore is a beautiful site to enjoy the clear sunset at Bali. The striking waves at the rock base of the temple might seem to be a bit scary. The temples cultural park even hosts the traditional Balinese dance.

Later that day we visited their best street shopping centre –The Krishna centre. Personally speaking I did not picture the street shopping as a hyper Mart which disappointed me. Following which we got dropped at the Legian street, the most happening street of Bali and ended our day with a fulfilling meal at the Bella italia.

 DAY 2 –

Today’s itinerary was pre planned by our agency well in advance and we had the water sports passes to use. After a tasty breakfast buffet at the hotel we were on our way to

Tanjung Benoa Water Sports. Our package included the Banana boat and the single Parasailing. Besides to that we also did other thrills like jet ski along with walking on the sea bed to discover Bali's Great underwater scenes.

We were all quite tired and headed to our hotel after the day itinery. Reaping the Benefits of the location of our hotel, We utilized our evening by chilling at the legian beach and watching the sunset and later strolled through the streets and picked a handful of junk jewelry and dream catchers.

DAY 3

With our adventure shoes on, we were up for the infamous water rafting in Bali. On our arrival at the location ,professionally trained guides suited us up with our safety helmets and life jackets. Wtty and spontaneous, our guide continuously motivated us and geared us up and for our an completely new experience. After a 30 minute long trek down the hill Admiring the beauty of mother nature we alas reached our destination. Cold water was hitting through the rocks and was building up the aura . Everyone sat down and was gathering their breath while the guide showcased the equipments and briefed us up with the safety rules.

Our ride began with a dramatic drop followed by numerous water runs. Swiftly flowing through and tackling all the rapids we captured the beautiful photographic backgrounds throughout the route. Spectacular waterfalls , and a series of engraved wall art made our Bali rafting ride a fun and awesome experience.

Facilities were good and the buffet the end of the rafting was really good. Fresh towel, plastic bag for your wet clothes and even the showers were way cleaner than the water sports provider.

Bali Pulina -our next stop after the rafting.Nothing much except scenery and free coffee. A good place to relax after the hectic activity.
We then took the UBUD tour and covered the various handicraft spots like the wooden carving center, the batik center and the lastly their Souvenir Center.
