In search for something completely new we started our exploration deep inside the famous chandni chowk galiyan. Caught by surprise we were struck by a profusely crowded food joint at 8 in the morning. People belonging to all walks of life were digging in the round kachauris. Although there was acute shortage of space we still managed our way through the crowd to one of the few standing tables. We then ordered our food and were served with drool-worthy authentically cooked aloo ki sabzi with the adequate amount of spices and chillies along with 2 crisp and round kachauris. The mandatory kachalu seetaphal and pickles pepped up our meal. Honestly speaking we had a hard time finishing our plate! The food made it all up for our crowdy experience. A must visit if you are a desi kachauri fan.

After a sumptuous meal we started wandering through streets to meet our sweet cravings. On the Kucha Pati Ram Marg, we found the most versatile and legendary kulfi vala in town, Kuremal Mahavir Prasad kulfivale. We binged on a wide range of flavours from sweet to sour served at pocket-friendly prices. Being the typical foodies we tried jamun, Imli, anar, kala-khatta and the stuffed fruit kulfi. Jamun and the stuffed kulfi was the ultimalte zenith for us.
